Riding Lessons
A correct position in the saddle yields a strong and effective rider, so we place equal emphasis on position and control. Our approach to flatwork incorporates basic dressage training: horses are ridden forward, with balance, rhythm and suppleness. This foundation allows us to jump safely and under control.

For riders who do not own a horse, we have school horses available that are sound and willing. They range from ponies to thoroughbreds ensuring the proper mount is on hand for riders of all ages and abilities. Students riding school horses participate in grooming and saddling, and should plan to arrive 30 minutes before your lesson starts and stay for 30 minsutes after each lesson to properly care for your mount.

During the show season, we attend hunter/jumper schooling shows, CHJA and sometimes "A" rated shows. We can provide school horses for those wishing to compete who do not own a horse. (This service is reserved for current lesson students only for a small fee).
